  • I have uploaded a book and have not heard back about payment yet?

    That’s ok, a staff member needs to check over your photo book file first to ensure that it will print beautifully and then we will email you a confirmation of price and how to pay. We are currently open Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm, so if you create a photobook during the weekend for instance, we will action it first thing the following business day.

  • I have had a book printed with JamJar in the past, do you still have it on file?

    Yes we should do. We try our best to keep all files on record. Just let us know either the order number or your name and email address and we can check to see if we still have it.

  • What is the maximum number of pages I can have in my photo book?

    The maximum number of pages is 70 (35 leaves) the software will not allow you to add anymore than this. Because some of the books have covers made out of house we cannot add more than 70 pages due to spine space. However if you are in need of more pages we can discuss other options.

  • What is the minimum number of pages for a photo book?

    The minimum number of pages you can have is 20 pages (10 leaves). Anything under this and we cannot ensure the binding will hold.

  • Can I enlarge the text?

    Font sizes are set and cannot be changed. They have been set up to be the appropriate size for a book.  There is however slight variance in size between font types.

  • Can I make a photo book over a period of time, save it somewhere and complete it in stages?

    Yes you can! That’s the beauty of our free JamJar software. You can save just like when you use Microsoft Word for example. Once you’ve started on a photobook and are ready to save, simply go to “File” then “Save as” and name and save the file onto your laptop or computer. You can then open and save it as many times as you like.

  • Can you print a book I’ve already made in PDF format?

    Sorry, JamJar only prints books made in our software. If you require books to be printed and bound from a PDF file we do have another service at the following web site www.printabook.co.nz

  • Is the software compatible with Apple Mac?

    Yes, we have versions for both Mac and PC available to download for your laptop or computer.

  • Have you got a payment option of Internet Banking?

    When photo book files are received will send a link to ask for payment which is normally done online by credit card. However at that time you can email and ask for our bank account number to pay by internet banking.

  • Is there a limit to how long I take to make my photo book with your software?

    Take as long as you like. Our free JamJar software stays on your computer for as you want it to. Just like programs such as Microsoft Word. So you will always be able to make photobooks with it. From time to time we issue updates but you can open files that you’ve made and saved with older versions.
